Energy Saving Trust White papers

The Energy Saving Trust promotes the efficient use of energy and a low carbon lifestyle. We are the leading UK organisation set up to address the damaging effects of climate change by helping individuals and organisations cut carbon dioxide emissions.

One of our remits is to encourage organisations to employ best practice in fleet management, which not only reduces a company’s impact on the environment, but saves money as well.

The services we offer are:

Larger fleets with over 50 vehicles we offer Green Fleet Reviews, a free environmental review of your fleet providing bespoke recommendations to reduce carbon emissions and costs, once completed you can then join our Motorvate accreditation scheme.

Medium fleets with 25 to 100 vehicles you can receive a fleet carbon footprint assessment and advice on how to reduce it.

Smaller fleets can benefit from our Small Fleet Advice service which offers free, expert advice over the phone and monthly email updates that explore topical subjects to help you build on your fleet management skills and knowledge.

We also offer smarter driver training for company employees which can help reduce fuel consumption by up to 15%. The training is available to all employees who can driver regardless of whether they drive on company business.

All the Energy Saving Trust’s services are funded by the Department for Transport and all are provided free except for smarter driving training which costs £15 per head.
