DeeDee is the editor of Recruiter, the UK recruitment industry’s leading print, online and awards title. Awarded BSI’s Emerging Standard Maker of the Year Award in 2016 for her work on the global ISO Recruitment standard and an ISO technical report on Sustainable Employability, DeeDee is a keen and well-known advocate for best practice in recruitment and for the recruitment profession and industry. A fervent believer in reskilling and upskilling, DeeDee is hopeful that the Covid-19 pandemic has cast a brighter light on that arena in workforce planning. Thanks to the WFH phenomenon, she has spent many non-work hours in 2020 at the gym, doing volunteer research and writing for a local heritage project and serving on the GTR rail system’s customer cabinet.
