Nick’s 30 year career spanning corporate, business school and consulting arenas helps him bring a wealth of experience and perspectives to his work with senior teams aligning organisation and people needs to business strategy. An engineer by training, he transitioned through capital programmes and supply chain into HR; where he spent 10 years leading OD, Talent, Recruitment, L&D and Leadership functions at regional and global levels across multiple sectors for businesses including Mars, BOC Group, Prudential and Travelport. For the past decade, he has worked as a senior consultant specialising in organisational capability, most notably in the areas of SWP, OD, Talent and HR capability. Alongside running his own business, he spent 5 of these years as Visiting Professor and Co-Director of the Centre for HR Excellence at Henley Business School and a further 2½ years as a Senior Partner in Kornferry Haygroup’s People Advisory business. Nick is also an Associate Director of the Corporate Research Forum. Nick now spends his time partnering CEOs, Boards and HR Leadership Teams putting the organisational wheels under strategy execution and building internal capability to deliver. He is particularly well-known as a global thought leader in SWP, having worked with over 40 organisations around the world integrating his unique perspective on the topic into integrated business planning processes
